17 A Elevator Pitch No. 2

From the interviews I have gathered and the feedback, what stood out most was the liked the idea of a reward. The people who have the new iPhone update think it's great, but when they have their maps open, it no longer works and the notifications pour in. Having the motivation and reward of food or drinks makes the consumer more willing to stay off the phone. Who doesn't like free things? Many do not want to pay for the app, which was something else that stood out to me. The original plan was to make the app cost 99 cents, but I think I would make it free in the end of it all. There would probably be advertisements in it like Waze, another map app. I changed certain other minor things like it blocking notifications. If anything I would try to make it be muted or only allow certain phone calls through.

    Wow, I really liked your second elevator pitch -- you definitely have improved since the first one! I agree with your reflection that the use of a reward really makes your app both unique and appealing. I think making the app free for download is a great concept but then how do you plan to generate revenue? Do you plan to have the main stream of revenue come from other businesses advertising on the app? Overall this was a great post.

    I really enjoyed your pitch and how you started. You allowed people to vision themselves in your shoes. It is important to do that so that people can see how they really feel about the product. Your emphasis on the rewards are also great because that is what could intrigue people the most. Free things always intrigue people and will motivate them to get this app.

    your pitch was effortless. I truly love the idea of having an incentive to not use phones while driving. the quality of the video was so clear and vibrant. you showed passion with your body language and your voice. You provided use to be in the shoes of the driver which was great. I think something to mention would be your revenue. how will you make profits? would it be off the companies that provide the rewards? or will users pay for the app?
